1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the websites and products of Fernando Teresa San José (AldeaCode), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

2. Definitions

  • “Service” refers to all AldeaCode websites, web applications, and browser extensions
  • “Products” refers to both free tools (DuneTools) and paid products (browser extensions)
  • “User”, “You” refers to the individual accessing the Service

3. Use of Service

3.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Use our tools for any illegal activity
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code
  • Redistribute or resell our products without authorization
  • Use automated systems to abuse our free services

3.2 Account Responsibility

For paid products:

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your license key
  • One license = one user (unless otherwise specified)
  • License keys are non-transferable

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Our Content

All AldeaCode websites, products, logos, and content are owned by Fernando Teresa San José and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

4.2 Your Content

Files you process using our tools remain entirely yours. We claim no ownership over any content you create, edit, or process using our Service.

5. Products and Pricing

5.1 Free Products

DuneTools and other free tools are provided “as is” without warranty. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue features
  • Add premium features in the future
  • Impose reasonable usage limits

5.2 Paid Products and Merchant of Record

  • Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.
  • Our order process is conducted by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the official seller.
  • All prices include applicable taxes where required and managed by Lemon Squeezy.
  • Purchases are one-time (Lifetime) for the current version of the product, unless explicitly stated as a subscription.

5.3 Delivery and Activation

Digital products are delivered immediately via license key (via email). By activating the license key, the user consents to the immediate execution of the contract and acknowledges that they lose their 14-day right of withdrawal (pursuant to the legal exception for digital content not provided on a tangible medium). However, AldeaCode maintains a 14-day commercial refund policy to ensure satisfaction (see section 6).

6. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid products.

  • Request refunds at support@aldeacode.com
  • Include your order number or email used for purchase
  • Refunds processed within 5-7 business days
  • No questions asked for the first 14 days

After 14 days, refunds are issued at our discretion for genuine product issues.

In accordance with EU Directives and Spanish Law (RDL 1/2007), digital content and services from AldeaCode have a legal guarantee of conformity for 3 years from the moment of delivery. During this period, AldeaCode undertakes that the software will function as described and will rectify any lack of conformity through updates or corrections at no cost to the user.

8. Disclaimer of Commercial Warranties

Our Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Results from using the Service will be accurate
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AldeaCode shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Damages exceeding the amount you paid for the product

This limitation applies even if we’ve been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fernando Teresa San José (AldeaCode) from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

11. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue the Service at any time
  • Update these Terms of Service
  • Change pricing for future purchases

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts based on the consumer’s domicile.

Online Dispute Resolution (ODR): In compliance with Regulation (EU) No 524/2013, we inform you that you can access alternative dispute resolution mechanisms through the European Commission’s official portal: https://commission.europa.eu/live-work-travel-eu/consumer-rights-and-complaints/resolve-your-consumer-complaint_en.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
